UNILEVER Food Solutions (UFS) recently presented its Future Menu Trends Report 2024, highlighting eight emerging culinary trends that will shape the future of the food and culinary business globally, at the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2024 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Themed Culinary Infinity, the UFS activation was a feast to the eyes, reflecting the infinite possibilities of the future of dining.

The exhibit attracted professional chefs, restaurateurs, business owners, as well as foodies from around the world, to sample dishes reflecting four of the eight trends – Flavour Shock, Local Abundance, Low Waste Menus, and Modernised Comfort Food.

In addition to attendees learning from the comprehensive report, Future Menus was also an immersive and interactive event that gave foodies and industry heads key insights from experts.

Regional Marketing Director, UFS Southeast Asia, Vangie Hu said the future of food could go so many ways and the innumerable possibilities are exactly why the industry should be excited to sink its teeth into the future.

The UFS Future Menu Trends Report 2024 was compiled from robust global data and extensive chef inputs, such as industry reports by leading third-party sources, social media analytics and feedback from more than 1,600 chef professionals.

The UFS Future Menus Trend Report findings have been translated into practical, action-driven solutions for foodservice operators globally, including recipe inspiration, preparation techniques and ingredient suggestions operators can use on their menus. - November 7, 2024
