IN true Italian fashion, Petra Cucina launched its flagship restaurant, Roberto's 1020 Osteria, at Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) last night, December 16, with the splendours of fine food and lively company.
The event was graced with VIPs, celebrities and notable Malaysians including the Ambassador of Italy to Kuala Lumpur, H.E. Cristiano Maggipinto, British High Commissioner H.E. Charles Hay, Datuk Dr Vinod Sekhar, Senator Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi, Datuk Hans Isaac, iconic singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, Deborah Henry and Francisca James, among others.
"I'm extremely excited to finally launch Roberto's so people can have a real taste of Italia, through recipes that have been carefully crafted," said Petra Cucina Chief Executive Roberto Guiati.
Petra Group Chairman and Group Chief Executive Datuk Dr Vinod Sekhar, who officiated the launch, said: "We've all been through a year with many challenges, and this launch marks how Petra Group aims to bring some hope, opportunity and employment back to the people.
"It's also a way for the restaurant to show that Malaysians can stand up and look forward to the future where the sun always rises in the end.

With a rich array of authentic Tuscan cuisine, the restaurant serves 90 dishes for avid diners to feast upon.
