Johor State Election: BN to launch machinery this Sunday

BARISAN Nasional (BN) Johor will launch its machinery for the 16th Johor State Election (PRN) this Sunday at the EduCity Sports Complex (ESC) in Iskandar Puteri.

Johor Umno Information Chief, Md Israk Abdullah, through a Facebook post, announced that BN Chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, is expected to officiate the machinery launch at 3.30 pm.

Also expected to be present is Johor BN Chairman and Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

He said the launch will serve as a platform for the manifestation of solidarity and unity among the BN machinery in facing the election.

He said the presence of supporters at the stadium will also be proof of the people's unwavering support for the BN leadership, which has been driving the state's progress.

"Together we will show the strength of the machinery, the unity of members and our commitment to ensuring that Johor continues to progress, is stable and prosperous," he said. – June 4, 2026
