LET’S bid goodbye to 2020 with our very own Grand F*2020 send off! You won’t be missed, nasty year!

Artesque, an entrepreneurial art venture, is holding its very first live entertainment event on December 30, connecting people within Malaysia and overseas in a single event, with the aim of entertaining while ushering in the new year.

The F* 2020 Show will feature entertainment and games with exciting prizes over its 2-hour duration, including a live comedy skit performance by one of Malaysia’s rising stand-up comedy talents Gajen Nad, who will also be interacting live with the online audience.

To make it even more special, Artesque has teamed up with local social enterprise PichaEats to offer a 3-course New Year’s Special menu that can be ordered by audience members living in the Klang Valley.

"Many of us have been unable to return home to see our loved ones since the pandemic started, so this year end, we wanted to create a live event to connect with Malaysians locally and abroad in a relaxing atmosphere a la Malaysian lepak style.

“We ran many virtual art classes this year, and found the virtual connection really meaningful in these challenging times.

“This then inspired us to create our first live entertainment show to bid goodbye to 2020.

“With the participation of our special guest Gajen Nad, we are confident that it will be a not to be missed, one of a kind experience,” said Ms Ling Fei Wen, the founder and owner of Artesque.

“We also wanted to connect our audience with local businesses and local talents in Malaysia, in a time when it is more important than ever to support local initiatives.

“Our virtual event will focus on engaging with participants through fun games, with selected participating businesses sponsoring exciting experiences as prizes,” Ms Ling added.

The participating Malaysian enterprises are fine dining restaurant FLOUR Rises, boutique hotel KLoe Hotel and social enterprise PichaEats, which helps to empower and rebuild the lives of refugees in Malaysia.

PichaEats is offering a special deal for their 3-course New Year’s menu to audience members of the The F* 2020 Show, with all proceeds channelled to help the refugees.

“To ensure the best virtual experience, we are limiting the audience to under 500 people during the live event. We aim to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed with the entertainment and games we have lined up for them,” said Ms Elaine Kang, Project Manager of The F* 2020 Live Show.

To strengthen community spirit as we count down to the end of 2020, the F* 2020 Live Show is also running a social media campaign ending on December 30, where participants can express their 2020 experience by submitting one photo each.

The best photo stands a chance to win a pair of headphones. To find out more about this contest, please visit www.artesquemy.com.

The F* 2020 Live Show goes live on December 30 from 8pm onwards on an invitation only Zoom link.

The show will be produced at a mysterious location to be revealed on the event day with the main performer Gajen Nad.

Tickets start from RM25 onwards for the Early Bird deal, expiring on December 25. Remember, participants need to be kept below 500 people, so don’t miss your spot!
