HOSPITAL Sultan Ismail Petra (HSIP) in Kuala Krai, Kelantan was recently abuzz - not due to any medical emergency, but a wedding.

Che Muhammad Rifqi Danial Che Alias, 25, was admitted to the hospital on September 1 following a road accident.

However, plans for his wedding had already been made for September 5 and he could not postpone his big day with Nur Sufia Amalin Che Ramli, 26.

Both sides agreed that the wedding take place in the hospital and through the Hospital Mesra Ibadah (HMI) initiative, all the necessary preparations were made.

The ceremony proceeded smoothly and the couple tied the knot surrounded by family, friends and also hospital staff.

In a Facebook post, the hospital expressed appreciation to the hospital management, Orthopedic Department, nursing staff, HMI committee and others who helped make the wedding a success.

"May the bride and groom be happy and blessed always," read the post. – September 6, 2025
