POPULAR Taiwanese influencer, widely known by her moniker the "Nurse Goddess," died from a sudden heart attack while on a visit to Malaysia.

Hsieh Yu-hsin, better known as Iris Hsieh, was said to be abroad on a shoot when the incident occurred on October 30.

Various Taiwanese news outlets, including reports cited by Mothership said the former nurse, 31, had posted images on her Instagram account, where she commanded a following of over half a million showing her in a yellow swimsuit, seemingly enjoying a holiday.

Her manager, identified as Chris, said the illness struck suddenly and that there was no chance for emergency treatment.

He said the family is devastated and may request further investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Chris also addressed and firmly denied malicious speculation circulating online that had linked Hsieh's passing to drug use in Genting Highlands.

He called these claims "unfounded," noting that police reports concerning the death contained "no mention of such allegations." – November 2, 2025
