PERTUBUHAN Jaringan Insan Madani (Perjim) today organised a ‘Muhibbah Ride’ to promote a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally.

Its chairman, Aidi Amin, said every Malaysian bears the duty to preserve harmony by engaging more with their respective community.

"Racial harmony and a healthy life are deeply connected, as inner peace and community well-being depend on living free from hatred and division.

“In celebration of Merdeka and the upcoming Malaysia Day, it is important to remind ourselves of our nation's Muhibbah spirit of friendship, camaraderie, and mutual understanding among people from different racial, cultural, or religious backgrounds,” he said.

The Muhibbah Ride involved various cycling groups, and a total of more than 250 cyclists took part in a 73km journey around Paya Jaras, Sg Buloh.

"You can never backpedal on a bike, akin to moving forward in our journey together as a nation. Always look ahead against all odds,” added Aidi. – September 6, 2026
