OUR body responds to stress in different ways but did you know, a natural by-product of stress is actually more energy.

When you're faced with a stressful situation, say a looming deadline, a part of your brain called the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) system switches on.

Stress then naturally becomes go-power, as the HPA sends a bunch of chemicals into your bloodstream (including cortisol & adrenaline) that gives you a kick and helps you focus.

However, if we get stuck in the HPA response for too long, we end up feeling overwhelmed and paralyzed instead of productive. And that is toxic stress - which can lead to a myriad of health issues such as a weakened immune system, to heart disease, and depression over time.

The trick here is to learn how to work with stress, to neutralize the toxicity and get going.

In this video, Jojo will take you through some energizing breathwork to get you out of the stressed mode, and right into a more productive and positive space!
