Kim Kardashian West received the birthday present of a lifetime - a virtual reunion with her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. in holographic form.
TMZ reported that her husband, Kanye West, had poured over hours of video footage, audio recordings and photographs and worked together with AI specialists to make this holographic vision come alive.
The hologram was unveiled to Kardashian at her 40th birthday private island retreat, where she had brought along 20 - 25 of her closest friends and family amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, for which she was duly criticised.
Kardashian Sr.'s hologram 'spoke' to Kim for about 3 minutes, telling her that he watches over her and her siblings, as well as all the grandchildren. 'He' expressed how proud he is that she is following in his footsteps to become a lawyer and to carry on his legacy. There was a definite Kanye-ism when he told her that she married "the most genius man in the world", and is the most amazing mother. He ends his birthday message to her with, "Don't forget to say your prayers."
