THE Malaysian Animal Association (MAA) is offering an RM5,000 reward to anyone who can provide information on those responsible for killing 15 kittens by drowning them at the Jerantut Wholesale Market in Pahang.

In a Facebook post, the association said a resident realised what had happened last night and informed the MAA about 8pm.

A police report had also been made at the Jerantut station today.

“MAA is offering RM5,000 for anyone who can provide us information on those involved in the cruel act against these 15 kittens.

“Justice must be served to prevent the recurrence of similar or worse incidents.

“Witnesses, whether friends, family or acquaintances who know the individual or those who intentionally drowned the kittens at the Jerantut Wholesale Market can contact Malaysia Animal Crime Transparency – MyAct at www.wasap.my/+60105394749.”

The MAA assured confidentiality for anyone who provided information on this inhumane crime.

“The responsible parties must be brought to justice and receive the punishment for the cruelty they have committed,” added the MAA. – The Vibes, November 30, 2023
