A MOTHER recently took to social media to express the trauma and relief she experienced after her son was left behind at an R&R in Pagoh.

According to TikTok user @shahilashah, she and her husband along with another person had left the rest area when they received a phone call.

In a video she posted, she is seen panicking after answering her phone and learning that her son was left behind.

According to her replies in the comments section, they immediately turned back and headed to the Pagoh rest area where their son was.

The person sitting behind in the vehicle was asleep and did not realise the boy was missing.

To her relief, upon arriving at the rest area, she saw her son sitting with some workers from Bangladesh at the Petron station.

“I felt so relieved when I saw him. I want to thank the workers for their kindness and generosity.

“They not only lent my son their phone to call me but also bought him some bread and water while waiting for us to return,” she wrote.

She mentioned a worker by the name of Ismail who looked after her son along with two of his colleagues from the Petron station.

“I am forever grateful. Some foreign workers are so kind-hearted,” she wrote.

Upon arrival at the station, her son is seen smiling and walking towards the car. – The Vibes, February 20, 2024
