Rulers, prime minister visit Najib’s ailing mother

KUALA LUMPUR – Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tonight paid a visit to Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s ailing mother.

Various reports said Najib’s mother Tun Rahah Mohamed Noah is receiving treatment at Prince Court Medical Centre in Jalan Kia Peng tonight.

Najib shared on his social media accounts several images of him with the king, Sultan Nazrin, Muhyiddin, and Anwar.

Also seen in the pictures were Anwar’s wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

“Mother is not well. Many came to visit her at the hospital,” Najib posted.

“I ask for all to pray for my mother to be given strength and to recover.”

Najib added that “it is a very difficult and worrying period for our family”.

He also thanked the rulers and leaders who came to visit his mother at the hospital. – The Vibes, December 17, 2020
