NOT happy that he was rejected, a man stabbed a woman and her father to death in an apartment in Lengkok Angsana, Ayer Itam in George Town today.

The incident occurred at 1.15 pm in front of the ground floor lift when the 30-year-old victim returned from work.

It is learnt that the 62-year-old father was also at the scene and had tried to stop the 32-year-old suspect.

After stabbing the father and daughter, the suspect slit his throat and stabbed himself several times. He was later taken to the Penang Hospital.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
