A 42-SECOND video of a father lovingly feeding his daughter before she leaves for Lebanon on a UN peacekeeping mission has left netizens teary-eyed.

The social media post by @cik_farah93 (TikTok) shows the father feeding the soldier who is part of the fourth group of the Malaysian Battalion 850-12 (MALBATT 850-12) sambal prawn nasi lemak.

The video was posted by the soldier's elder sister who said her sister's favourite food is sambal prawns.

In the video, the soldier is seen wiping away her tears several times as her dad feeds her and her mother looks on.

While expressing admiration for the soldier's courage, netizens also offered their prayers and blessings for her safety during the mission.

"A parent's love is irreplaceable. May she be blessed with a safe mission and return home soon," said one netizen. - November 21, 2024
