Her Majesty expressed deep appreciation for the vital role that women play – March 8, 2025– March 8, 2025

HER Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong, Raja Zarith Sofiah, today issued a heartfelt message in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, extending her warm wishes to all women across Malaysia.

With this year’s theme, "Aspirational Women, Building a Legacy," Her Majesty expressed deep appreciation for the vital role that women play as the backbone of families, communities, and the nation.

In her message, Raja Zarith Sofiah praised the significant contributions of women, not only within the family unit but also in various professional fields.

"The resilience and wisdom of women in facing challenges make them an inspiring source of strength, as they build meaningful legacies for future generations," Her Majesty said in a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s official Facebook page.

The Queen also offered her prayers for the continued strength and determination of all women in their endeavours. "I pray that every woman remains resilient and passionate in whatever they pursue," Her Majesty added. – March 8, 2025
