KTMB introduces four additional ETS services for Raya

IN conjunction with the upcoming Aidilfitri celebrations, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will be offering four additional Electric Train Services (ETS) for the Kuala Lumpur Sentral - Butterworth and Kuala Lumpur Sentral - Padang Besar routes.

KTMB announced that these four extra services will operate two days before Aidilfitri on 28th and 30th March, as well as two days after the festivities, on 5th and 6th April.

“These services will offer 1,254 seats per day, including business class options. In total, 5,016 seats will be available throughout this period to cater to passenger demand,” said the statement. It was also highlighted that tickets for the additional services will be available for purchase from today starting at 10am.

Earlier, on 3rd March, KTMB had already introduced four additional ETS services between 28th March and 6th April 2025, following the sale of tickets for the scheduled trains, which had sold out.
