Party continues to uphold its founding principles of political and social justice – April 4, 2025

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (People's Justice Party) Information Chief Datuk Fahmi Fadzil reaffirmed the party’s enduring commitment to reform and creating a fairer, more just nation as it celebrates its 26th anniversary today.

The party, also known as Keadilan, was founded nearly three decades ago on April 4, 1999, emerged from the reformasi movement, aiming to combat corruption and the abuse of power in Malaysia.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the party continues to uphold its founding principles of political and social justice.

Fahmi, who also serves as the Communications Minister and Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai, emphasised that PKR remains steadfast in its pursuit of reform, social justice, and transparent governance.

"From the streets to the ballot boxes and now in Putrajaya, PKR, along with our allies in Pakatan Harapan, will continue to push for the reforms that this country needs," he said, reflecting on the party’s journey over the past 26 years.

He also expressed gratitude to the party's members, leaders, and supporters, acknowledging their unwavering dedication, idealism, and loyalty. "I would like to thank all PKR members and supporters across the nation for their perseverance. Your loyalty and commitment to the cause are what keep us moving forward," Fahmi added. – April 4, 2025
