A MAN sustained injuries after the car he was driving veered out of control and crashed into a toll divider at the Bukit Raja Toll Plaza along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) on Sunday morning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said an emergency call was received at 9.12am.

“A team of seven firefighters and officers from the Klang Utara Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

“Upon arrival, the team found a Honda Jazz that had skidded and crashed into the toll barrier.”

Ahmad Mukhlis added that the driver, believed to be in his 30s, was found trapped with his left leg pinned inside the vehicle.

“He was successfully extricated by our personnel and handed over to the Health Ministry team for medical treatment. The case has been referred to the police for further action,” he said. - April 27, 2025
