POLICE confirmed that there was nudity involving four individuals during the eHati marriage motivation programme at the IDCC Convention Centre, Shah Alam, which was reported last year.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the activity took place during a night known as ‘queens night’ organised by the motivation company involved.

“At the event, there was indeed nudity by four individuals, the event was called ‘queens night’ which was held on the last night of the programme.

“Investigations found that four facilitators were involved in a "rebirth" ritual during the event where they were naked,” he told a press conference at the Selangor Police Contingent (IPK) Headquarters in Shah Alam, today.

Hussein said there were two packages offered at the programme, where Package A cost around RM6,000 while Package B was about RM9,000.

“The police also seized various equipment used in the programme, including several liquids used in drinks at the event.

"The investigation also found that this programme does not only focus on Muslim individuals, but rather is organised for everyone," he said.

He added that his party has also sent the contents of the seized liquid to the Chemistry Department to find out the contents.

Earlier, the husband and wife couple who are also the founders of eHATI along with four other individuals were remanded for three days to assist in the investigation.

The remand order was issued by Magistrate Ameera Mastura on Thursday after all the suspects, four women and two men, were brought before the Shah Alam Magistrate's Court.
