A 10-YEAR-OLD boy sustained leg injuries after falling from the seventh-floor corridor of an apartment building along Jalan Rawang Batu 9 earlier today.

According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, emergency services received a distress call at 12.16pm, prompting the dispatch of five firefighters from the Selayang Fire and Rescue Station.

“Upon arrival, we found the boy had fallen from the seventh floor and landed on an exterior ledge at the sixth floor,” he said in a statement.

He confirmed that the child had injured his leg and was successfully rescued by firefighters.

“The victim was then handed over to the Ministry of Health (KKM) for further medical attention,” he added. - August 26, 2025
