A 19-YEAR-OLD woman was killed while four men survived following a three-vehicle collision in the early hours of the morning on the Karak-Kuala Lumpur Expressway near Gombak.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department’s Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 2am.

“A fire engine with six personnel from the Selayang Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene,” he said in a statement today.

The crash involved a Perodua Ativa, Perodua Myvi, and a Honda City. Four male victims in their 20s were reported safe.

“However, a 19-year-old female victim was found trapped in the Honda City and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers from the Ministry of Health (KKM),” he added.

Rescue teams managed to extricate the deceased at 3.32am, and her remains were handed over to the police for further action. The operation was fully concluded by 3.48am. - September 23, 2025
