A MOSQUE caretaker has been arrested following allegations of sexual harassment involving a 15-year-old boy in Bukit Sentosa, according to Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Ibrahim Husin.

The alleged incident was reported by the victim on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3.41pm.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the 44-year-old local man is suspected of committing sexual harassment while the pair were in a car, en route to a mosque in Bukit Sentosa to meet the victim’s friend,” Superintendent Ibrahim said in a statement on Friday.

He added that the suspect is also believed to have sent sexually explicit messages to the victim’s mobile phone.
