POLICE  are investigating a report filed by Russian model Alisa Kasimova, 26, who claimed she was subjected to sexually explicit remarks while dining at a restaurant in Bukit Bintang.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the report was lodged at Dang Wangi Police Station on Friday.

“Preliminary checks found that the report concerns a TikTok video allegedly humiliating the complainant with sexually suggestive words.

“The case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998,” he said on Saturday.

The case remains under investigation, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

Alisa Kasimova reportedly filed the report after receiving advice from people around her who were concerned for her safety. The incident video quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.

The local influencer implicated in the matter has since publicly apologised following heavy criticism from netizens. - November 8, 2025
