THE Ministry of Education (MOE) has clarified that the alleged leak of the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) oral test questions is false.

It explained that the information leaked was a list of general themes and was content found in the Standard Curriculum and Assessment Document (DSKP).

According to MOE, the list of themes that was leaked was a prediction by teachers and examination candidates.

"It does not meet the definition of a leak set according to the procedures for managing and handling cases of examination paper leaks and the Examination Board's security controls," it said in a statement.

The statement was issued following allegations of a leak of questions from the 2025 SPM Malay Oral Test and English Oral Test that went viral on social media.

MOE said that public examination papers were prepared based on the set standard operating procedures (SOP), classified as confidential as provided in the Official Secrets Act 1972 and cannot be accessed by any party.

In this regard, the ministry advised this year's SPM examination candidates to remain calm and continue to focus on the ongoing examination.

"MOE is working to ensure that the confidentiality of public examination papers is maintained and the interests and fairness of all 2025 SPM examination candidates are guaranteed," it added. - November 12, 2025
