KUALA LUMPUR – Air Selangor will shut down water supply at 1pm in 58 areas in Klang and Shah Alam, and 72 areas in the Petaling district due to a burst main pipe.

The incident was detected at Persiaran Tengku Ampuan in Section 15, Shah Alam.

The water supply will be turned off this afternoon to facilitate repair works.

According to a statement today, repair works are estimated to be completed by 9pm today and water supply will resume thereafter.

“The water supply recovery period for consumers will be different from one area to another, depending on the location and distance of the consumers’ premises.

“Consumers are advised to store enough water before the water supply is shut down and to use water prudently during the unscheduled water disruption period.” – The Vibes, December 29, 2020
