A WOMAN is believed to have been stabbed to death by her husband at their home in Gual Ipoh, Tanah Merah, this afternoon.

In the incident at 1pm, the 40-year-old victim died at the scene due to serious injuries.

Sources said the suspect, who is also the victim's 63-year-old husband, was arrested by police immediately after the incident.

He said the victim was believed to have been stabbed with a sharp weapon, causing serious injuries.

"The victim's body will be sent to the Tanah Merah Hospital (HTM) for a post-mortem."

Meanwhile, Tanah Merah District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Haki Hasbullah, when contacted, confirmed the incident and said further investigations are still underway. - December 1, 2025
