FORMER actress Datin Seri Zizie Izette, 47, has publicly expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all those who have sent messages of condolence, prayers, and words of encouragement following the death of her husband, the late Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, last Friday.

In a post on her Instagram Story, Zizie acknowledged the outpouring of support, emphasising that every comment and message has been read and appreciated, even if she has not been able to reply individually.

“Thank you to everyone for your condolences, prayers and words of encouragement. I have read every single comment, even though I am unable to respond to all. I truly appreciate it,” she wrote.

Zizie also shared that she is still navigating the grieving process and has asked for space to fully experience her emotions in the wake of her significant loss.

“At this moment, I am still in the phase of mourning. I allow myself to cry. I allow myself to miss him. I allow myself to feel whatever I feel, because I know this is a journey I must go through… and the sense of longing will never disappear. It is indeed heavy, but I know I must remain strong for the sake of my children,” she said.

Zizie once again expressed her deep appreciation for the unwavering support from the public. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you once again. If you are with me, please also recite Al-Fatihah for him,” she added.

Zizie and the late Bung Moktar, who served as the Member of Parliament for Kinabatangan, were married in 2009 and had four children together. The 66-year-old politician passed away in a hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, due to kidney failure and a lung infection. - December 9, 2025
