The mosque, situated along Jalan Kolam Air near the Istana Bukit Serene, in Johor Bharu is designed to accommodate nearly 1,000 worshippers, reflecting both the spiritual significance and community role envisioned by its founders.
Earlier, His Majesty received Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman, Secretary of the Johor State Government, and Dato’ Yahya Ahmad, Mufti of Johor, at Istana Pasir Pelangi in Johor Bahru for a formal audience.
The briefing was attended by senior officials including Mohd Radzi Mohd Amin, Chief Executive Officer of the Johor Islamic Religious Council, Nasri Ali, Director of the Johor Islamic Religious Department, and Ir Zainal Tumian, Director of the Johor Public Works Department (JKR).
