POLICE are hunting for two men who were reported to have acted aggressively while holding an object believed to be a stick at the Sungai Long Toll Plaza on the Eastern Klang Valley Expressway yesterday.

Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said a police report was lodged at 9.08pm following the incident.

“Initial investigations found that the incident is believed to have occurred earlier the same day at about 9am, involving two individuals, one of whom was holding an object suspected to be a stick,” he said in a statement.

According to him, the aggressive behaviour disrupted traffic flow in the area and caused concern among members of the public.

The case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 48(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

“Efforts to trace both suspects are currently underway to assist with further investigations,” he said.

Members of the public with information related to the incident have been urged to contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer, Inspector Ghazali Zulkifli, at 016-974 0758. - January 3, 2025
