The son-in-law of PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is accused of committing the offence at Jalan Datuk Abdul Malik between 10.50am and 11.14am on 11 Sept 2025, reported Bernama.
The charge is framed under Section 145 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of two years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Wirna Arifin offered bail at RM5,000 with one surety, but lawyer Latheefa Koya requested a reduction, citing her client as the family’s sole breadwinner.
Magistrate Farah Nabihah Muhamad Dan allowed bail at RM2,000 with two sureties and set 24 Feb for mention of the case.
Earlier, Latheefa informed the court that Zaharudin had filed an originating summons in the High Court on 31 Dec last year.
