Initial findings indicating no evidence of foul play, police say - January 5, 2025

MEMBERS of the public were startled by the discovery of a man’s body on a pedestrian bridge near a school in Taman Damansara Aliff, along the Pasir Gudang Highway, earlier today.

Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat confirmed that police received a report regarding the incident at 8.54am.

Initial investigations identified the deceased as a 43-year-old local man. Police said preliminary examinations found no indications of criminal involvement in the case.

“The case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report,” Raub said. “The body has been sent to Sultanah Aminah Hospital for further action.”

Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death. - January 5, 2025
