 A MAN shared his experience of almost eating a screw found in the roasted glutinous rice he bought at a Ramadan bazaar.

In a TikTok post, Affendy02 said he bought the food to break his fast.

"I almost choked on a screw while breaking my fast. Luckily, while chewing, I bit the screw.

"I hope the bazaar traders are more careful and check for foreign objects like this," he shared.

The post received various reactions from users on the application.

Following that, many TikTok users described the trader as negligent in preparing food for sale and in failing to maintain quality, which could harm consumers, especially children.

In addition, several other users also shared their experiences of buying food at the Ramadan bazaar, which was stale when they were about to break their fast. To date, the video has received hundreds of thousands of views and almost 400 responses on the platform. – February 21, 2026
