The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which pertains to reckless driving resulting in death or injury.
The devastating accident occurred on Sunday outside the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Tanjong Mas in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, where one 13-year-old student lost her life and another was critically injured.

Her schoolmate sustained serious injuries and was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The vehicle also collided with a concrete pillar of the surau (prayer hall), causing further damage.
As investigations continue, authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and follow road safety measures to prevent such incidents.
