AFTER more than 30 years at the official residence of the Balai Undang Luak Sungei Ujong, Datuk Mubarak Dohak was ordered to vacate the official residence immediately.

The order issued by the Negeri Sembilan State Secretary's Office (SUK) dated April 29 began circulating today.

The letter was signed by the Divisional Secretary, Management Services Division, Akmal Farid Rizal Noordin.

The letter stated that the decision was made in accordance with the special session of the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) and the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) dated April 17.

"Accordingly, you are directed to vacate the official residence and Balai Undang Luak Sungei Ujong with immediate effect. All state government assets registered at the premises must be maintained in good condition for future inspection," the letter read.

However, SUK, Datuk Mohd Zafir Ibrahim, when contacted by reporters, refused to confirm the vacating order.

“I cannot comment on anything," he said simply.

According to sources, state government employees there were also ordered to relocate and were reassigned.

Meanwhile, a survey at Balai Undang Sungei Ujong found that there was no movement, and the situation was quiet.

On April 17, the DKU accepted Mubarak's dismissal as the incumbent of Balai Undang Sungei Ujong following a special session held at the Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah, chaired by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir. – April 30, 2026
