PARTI Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has launched an integrated election system known as TERAS, designed to enhance campaign efficiency through data-driven strategies and artificial intelligence.
The party said the system, inspired by its deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar, functions as a comprehensive campaign operating platform supporting the entire electoral ecosystem, from voter data management to field operations and targeted communications.
“TERAS represents an important contribution to the future of PKR, ensuring that the party’s organisational strength, data assets and strategic capabilities remain intact and continue to grow from generation to generation.
“With the integration of technology and AI as its core, this system enables a more structured, responsive and data-driven campaign approach, while recognising that the success of any party ultimately depends on public acceptance and its ability to understand the people’s concerns,” the party said in a statement.
PKR emphasised that the system is intended as a long-term institutional backbone, built not merely for a single election cycle but to endure beyond changes in leadership and personnel.
Pilot trials conducted last month at two locations demonstrated strong potential in mapping voter sentiment, although the party acknowledged that further improvements are needed, particularly in automated data verification.
The system also showed high responsiveness during testing, with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly, allowing campaign managers to focus more on strategic planning and grassroots mobilisation rather than administrative tasks.
However, PKR stressed that achieving its “Minimum Training Objective” remains essential to ensure the system can be effectively utilised by grassroots machinery without requiring advanced technical expertise.
“With the launch of TERAS, PKR moves forward with a clear determination to combine the strength of our values with technological capabilities and party machinery, thereby building a more organised, responsive and future-ready political movement,” the statement added. - May 3, 2026
