A FEMALE teacher at a school in Hulu Selangor was found dead yesterday.

Police received an emergency call from a woman at 7.15 am.

Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent M. Manimaran, said the incident involved a woman in her 30s.

"The victim was taken to Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital for treatment, but was confirmed dead in the hospital's emergency unit.

"Initial investigations found that the incident occurred in the teacher's room on the first floor of the school involved," he said in a statement last night.

Manimaran said the post-mortem on the victim's body was completed at 5.30 pm at the Forensic Department of Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact any nearby police station, the Hulu Selangor District Police Headquarters (IPD) (03-60641222) or the Kerling Police Chief, Sergeant Major Halim Khan Hazam Khan (03-60481222). – August 1, 2026
