Johor PRN: Anwar urges PH members to stay clear of hate politics during campaign
Happy campaigning to all Johor PH candidates, said Anwar - June 27, 2026

PRIME Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, reminded all Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates and the election machinery to stay away from hate politics throughout the campaign period in Johor, starting today until July 10.

Anwar, who is also PH Chairman, said the entire party machinery must take advantage of the campaign, which officially began today, to go to the field and reach out to the people with great sincerity.

“The stage has been set. Now is the time for every candidate and the entire machinery to go to meet the people with a sincere heart, good manners and a determination that never fades. Happy campaigning to all Johor PH candidates.

“Approach the people with a sincere heart, not just to win votes, but to carry out their trust.

“Work hard, treat everyone with respect and prove that civilised politics will always overcome the politics of hatred,” he said in a statement on Facebook today.

Delivering a message that the work done would be proof of the party's strength in bringing new hope to the people in the state, he also quoted a verse from the Quran from Surah Ali 'Imran, verse 159.

It means: "Then when you have made up your mind, then put your trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him".

Anwar added: "Let our work be proof, sincerity be strength and the hope we bring touch the hearts of every citizen. Continue to move forward with patience, steadfastness and trust.

"God willing, when we sincerely defend the fate of the people of Johor, they will make the right choice for the future of our beloved state", he said. – June 27, 2026
