POLICE are looking for a 59-year-old driver who allegedly fled after causing a three-vehicle crash on the Federal Highway on June 20.

The incident has since gone viral on social media and occurred at about 6.10 pm on the highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur from Shah Alam.

Initial investigations found that the man, who was driving a Perodua Kembara, allegedly drove recklessly before colliding with a car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.

Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact the nearest police station. – June 29, 2026
