A TEENAGE boy was found dead hanging from a tree branch near Surau Al Azim, Jalan Enggang Selatan, Hulu Kelang, last night.

Ampang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid, said that police received information about the incident at 8.11 pm after a man contacted them.

“The complainant informed that a teenage boy was found hanging from a tree branch near the surau.

“The police then rushed to the location to conduct further checks and investigations,” he said in a statement today.

According to him, the victim had not attended school since finishing primary school, and the case was classified as a sudden death. – July 2, 2026
