A FIVE-MONTH-OLD baby boy sustained facial injuries after a road accident involving a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and a four-wheel-drive pick-up in Taman Universiti Indah here on Thursday night.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received an emergency call at 9.44pm.
The collision involved a Toyota Alphard and a Toyota Hilux.
"There were three victims in the Toyota Hilux comprising a 26-year-old male driver and a 22-year-old Malay woman passenger, both of whom sustained minor injuries.
"A five-month-old baby boy who was also in the vehicle suffered injuries to his face," he said in a statement.
Ashrul Riezal said the woman and the infant were handed over to the Ministry of Health (MOH) for further medical treatment.
The operation involved six firefighters from the Seri Kembangan Fire and Rescue Station. - August 7, 2026
