THE late Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali will be laid to rest beside the late Tun Endon Mahmood at the National Mausoleum, Precinct 20, Putrajaya.
Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said the government had directed the Chief Secretary to the Government and Chief of the Armed Forces to make the necessary preparations for Dr Siti Hasmah to receive the appropriate state funeral ceremony.
He said the decision to bury Dr Siti Hasmah at the National Mausoleum was made by her family.
“Following the family’s decision, Dr Siti Hasmah will be buried at the National Mausoleum, Precinct 20, Putrajaya.
“The Federal Secretariat for Ceremonial, Conference and International Relations (BIUPA) has informed me that she will be buried beside the late Tun Endon,” he told reporters today. – September 28, 2026
