KUALA LUMPUR – A total of 121 areas in Petaling, Hulu Langat and here were hit by an unscheduled water supply disruption about 1pm today, after a pipe in Jalan Sering, Taman Sg Sering, Cheras, burst.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, in a statement, said the incident was caused by sewage pipe installation works carried out by a third party on January 2.

“The repairs are expected to be completed by 3am tomorrow, and supply to consumers’ premises will resume once they are completed.

“The supply recovery time will vary from one area to another, depending on their location.” – Bernama, January 8, 2021
