KUALA LUMPUR – Works on pipes near the Carlsberg factory in Section 15, Shah Alam, scheduled to be conducted today have been postponed following the prime minister’s announcement that the movement control order (MCO) will be in force in the Klang Valley.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday said the MCO, to be implemented in six states, will be in effect from midnight tomorrow to January 26, aimed at halting the spread of Covid-19.

Last week, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd announced that the works on pipes near the factory would begin today, resulting in a scheduled water supply cut.

The statement said 22 areas in Shah Alam, four in Klang and 10 in Petaling would be affected, with the disruption to go on till 9am on Thursday. – The Vibes, January 12, 2021
