KOTA KINABALU - It seems there are no decision on the chief minister yet.

A high-level meeting of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) leaders would be held at Magellan Sutera Harbour to be chaired by PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin at 12.15pm.

The parties with assemblymen in GRS are Umno, PBS, Sabah Besatu and Sabah Star.

A party member told the media here that all the assemblymen from the alliance were told to be present at the meeting.

“The meeting will discuss who will be the chief minister. The governor has already been informed of the matter.

“As soon as we all arrive at a decision, the assemblymen will head to the Istana for the swearing-in, immediately,” he told The Vibes, today.

Around 2am this morning, Sabah Bersatu chief Datuk Seri Hajiji Hj Noor said the GRS will only make the name of the chief minister known this morning.

The Vibes was made to understand that the road to the Istana has also been cleared, perhaps to make way for the swearing-in today.

Meanwhile, the three independents Pitas rep Ruddy Awah, Kuamut rep Masiung Banah and Sugut's James Ratib have already put their support towards PN.

PN now has 41 from 38 assemblymen this morning.  Earlier, PBS denied that it would be joining forces with the Warisan Plus to form the Sabah Government.

"This claim is widely circulated on the social media following the state election results yesterday. PBS is an equal partner in GRS and will remain firm with its allies - PN and BN," the party information chief cum Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said.
