SIBU – The Covid-19 screening centre at the Sibu Indoor Stadium foyer will be closed for two weeks starting tomorrow following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) here.

The Sibu division Disaster Management Committee, in a statement today, said the closure is to prevent the public from gathering in the area.

However, drive-through screening at the Sarawak State Library, located next to the stadium, will continue operating for close-contact screening from 9am to 1pm from Monday to Saturday.

Those who have had close contact with Covid-19 patients or experience symptoms such as fever, cough, cold or sore throat, are urged to undergo screening at Lanang Health Clinic or Sibu Jaya Health Clinic.

The public can visit both clinics from Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4pm with a break from 1pm to 2pm.

On Fridays, both clinics operate from 8am to 4pm with a break time from 11.45am to 2.15pm, while on Saturdays, they are open from 9am to 12pm. – Bernama, January 15, 2021
