KUALA LUMPUR – Another Village Grocer outlet is closed for sanitisation after a staffer tested positive for Covid-19 last Saturday.
In a series of announcements on its Facebook page, the company said it was informed Saturday that one of its staff in the Avenue K outlet’s meat and seafood department was confirmed to have Covid-19, and last reported to work on January 29.
The outlet has been closed since Saturday for sanitisation work and will only reopen tomorrow.
The company said all staff at the outlet will undergo swab tests.
“Please be informed that Village Grocer Avenue K outlet will reopen on February 2 after thorough deep cleaning and sanitisation in accordance with the Health Ministry’s standards.
“Our outlet will reopen with a team that has had no contact with affected persons and have undergone swab tests with negative results.”
Just last week, its outlets at Bangsar Village and Melawati Mall here were closed following the detection of Covid-19 cases. – The Vibes, February 1, 2021
