MIRI – Although Sarawak today did not record new Covid-19 deaths, the state logged 185 new infections.

The state Disaster Management Committee secretariat today said Sibu district continues to record a large percentage of new cases with 101 infections.

The secretariat said that Lundu saw 19 new cases, followed by Song (18), Dalat (12), Subis (7), Kanowit (6), and Bintulu and Kapit with four each.

Meanwhile, Bau has three new cases, Kuching and Saratok has two each, and Miri, Julau, Belaga, Matu, Kabong, and Lawas have one each.

Sibu Hospital currently has 964 Covid-19 patients, followed by Miri Hospital (334), Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching (171), Bintulu Hospital (167), Kapit Hospital (129), Sarikei Hospital (19) and Limbang Hospital (4).
