KOTA KINABALU – Two individuals have taken party-hopping to a new level by alleging to be DAP members wanting to defect to Sabah Star.

Sabah DAP today said there are two people claiming to be party members in Keningau who are joining rival Sabah Star.

Sabah DAP organising secretary in Kuala Lumpur Henry Shim Chee On rubbished that Foh Su Ming @ Nelson Manjin and Michael Ng Hung Kee are party members.

The duo purportedly joined Sabah Star, according to a local news portal.

“Under DAP’s constitution, any party members who join other political parties will have their membership revoked immediately.

“But when I checked the members’ list, the two are not listed as DAP members anywhere in Malaysia,” said Shim.

He added that the two men were appointed as members to the Urban Community Committee in Keningau under the DAP political appointment quota previously, but they never joined the party. – The Vibes, March 11, 2021
