KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia today registered a record daily high of 691 new coronavirus cases, taking the national tally to 13,504.

Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also reported another four Covid-19 deaths, pushing up the toll to 141.

A 1-year-old girl is among the four fatalities, making her the country’s youngest-ever virus death. She died at Semporna Hospital.
