KUALA LUMPUR – The Royal Malaysia Police today announced the transfers of 64 senior officers effective September 6.

Among them is Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali.

Hazani will be the new Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department director.

The exercise also involves 32 officers at the Bukit Aman headquarters who will be transferred internally.

Following this, Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligent and Operation) Deputy Director DCP Dauk’ Dev Kumar M.M. Sree will hold the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) deputy director post with the rank of acting CP.

In addition, Bukit Aman CID Prosecution and Law Division (D5) SAC Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa will assume the Bukit Aman CID deputy director (investigation/legal) post with the rank of DCP.

Meanwhile, Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Zainal Abdullah will be promoted to Rusdi’s position with the rank of SAC.

Bukit Aman D4 Central Criminal Intelligence Unit/Criminal Record Assistant Director ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya will take over from Zainal.

The transfers were announced in a statement by PDRM superintendent of corporate communications Supt A. Skandaguru.

“Also involved in the transfer exercise is Bukit Aman Deputy Director of Management  (Administration), Management Department Datuk Mat Kasim Karim, who will be the new director of the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department with the rank of acting CP,” he added. – The Vibes, August 3, 2021
